Wow. Today was busy on the business end of things, and still going late into the night. Shipped off CDs & prints to clients while also editing away at recent sessions and publishing sessions to my website. Whew! But it's all good. Now...if I can just update my website like I want...and clean up my FB page some. :)

Hi there KBP peeps. Just wanted to let you know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth and am currently rethinking my blog. I'm not sure if I want to change it completely or simply add my favs again...BUT...here's what's been going on.

April came and when paired up with May there were bridals, a wedding, and senior portraits! My mom had deep brain stimulation surgeries during the month of June so the entire month was devoted to caring for her. Then here came July and it's almost gone with the blink of an eye with Military Homecomings, Musician performances, family sessions, child portraits, military wedding, bridal portraits, and a surprise 40-year wedding anniversary session for family portraits.

So...the blog has seen it's better days. I apologize for not updating weekly, BUT I WILL DO BETTER. I have sessions I'm finishing up and an engagement session coming my way with a wedding around the corner.

Have I mentioned how INCREDIBLY blessed I've been this summer?? It's AH-mazing. Thanks so much to my family, friends, and clients. I love it.

Oh yea...and I've already booked 4 weddings for 2012. HOLLA. LOL. Keep the love coming. It's a win-win relationship! So...pics will be posted soon and I will say, I'll probably, well, I'd love, to update more pics on the blog than on FB. So we'll see!

No power = unhappy photographer; Power ON = PROGRESS!

Well, the past two days were quite interesting, if I may say so. Monday night we were hit with one of the worst storms and I must say, I'm not a fan. Here's the odd thing...we lost power sometime early Tuesday morning while we were still asleep so we had a great surprise that morning! Still no power after a day's work and the power company stated it may be Friday. Whoa. What? But, luck has it...we regained power early Wednesday morning so we awoke with power that day! Yay.

However, I had a delay on pictures due to the storm, so I've uploaded the last 2 sessions from Saturday's Spring Special to my website and Facebook page, but haven't posted them here, yet! Plus, I have bridals to edit...but you won't see those for a couple more months!! :)

So, just wanted you to know. Til next time...

JACKSON!! What fun we had! And the very first picture means so much!! And you look so grown up?!! For those seeing Jackson for the first time, you'll see what I mean about his blue eyes too. They're awesome. You should also know, Jackson is soon to be a big brother. The picture below of him with Mommy's belly is simply priceless. :) Love it. And love this family. Ahhhhh...this picture truly takes my breath away...what a sweet face and a sweet moment :)

Caroline and Carter are always precious and so much fun to photograph. What wonderful siblings they are...and when they laugh and smile, it's absolutely the cutest ever (as you'll see). They toughed it out with a little bit of a wind chill, and man, oh man, did they do a great job! Mom and Dad told them they could get donuts when they finish if they did a good job...I hope they bought them a dozen! :) Is this not precious or what? ...there's no other answer but saying "YES!"

Here it is...the "one-five" that made us all laugh. Ah, the great medicine of laughter. Love it.

This shows their personality too...Caroline is precious and will pose when you least expect it and Carter loves to be silly and make us laugh. I had a blast!

Secret Words: WIND & JOKES (and lots of it)

Ok. So I looked at the weather this morning while getting ready and couldn't believe they were calling for wind gusts ranging in 20-30mph. I prayed it would be a forecaster's mishap or typo. Well, I had 4 wonderful sessions this morning with some beautiful kids (I just love my job/hobby), and the wind wasn't bad. There was a chill in the air, don't get me wrong, but it wasn't bad. As a photographer, we were still good. And I was really proud of the kids too. But goodness, gracious...the winds came out halfway into my bridal session this afternoon. Hahaha. I thought her veil was going to fly right out of her head. Things were great at the first location, but Mother Nature ran us out of a few after that due to the wind gusts. She was a trooper and put up a fight so we could get in a few more shots. I'm so excited to edit these pictures from today, let's just say that. It's the more tedious, daunting task of a photographer that many don't realize...and don't get me wrong, I don't mind (obviously) because I get to relive the experience all over again, but it just takes time. :)

So from today, I'll just share a few hilarious moments to leave you smiling:

{R} kids: Ok, these two are adorable. I do all kinds of things to make kids feel comfortable and laugh...to just loosen up. Well, I got them shaking and wiggling about and asked for a "high-five". Carter put his finger out to poke my hand. Jokingly, I said, "Hey, man...what's that?! You must not know what a high-five is. You just gave me a one-five." Well, they thought that was hilarious. Caroline laughed and poked my hand too. So it became a joke for the rest of the shoot. (You'll see one special shot when I post that will commemorate this moment of fun.)

Jackson: He's so precious. And let's just say, goldfish ROCK. :) He was super during the shoot and I just love taking pics of him. Those blue eyes are amazing every time. But what's hilarious about Jackson is every time Mom and Dad would ask him to do something, he'd say, "I don't" with all seriousness and move on. I mean, come on...everyone can read minds, right? :)

{S} kids: Twins! Love 'em. And it was so good to see this sweet family again. Logan and Jackson are one of a kind...opposites, that is. Logan cracked me up with his "chill" attitude and Jackson was on-the-go. They are too cute. The funniest moment was when we were taking pics of the family and the boys had to hold an Easter egg (which I believe you'll see in every shot...haha), and we heard this loud shrill sound. I looked up thinking it was some bird about to swoop in and take me away while Mom and Dad were wondering as well. We look down, and Logan's twisting the Easter egg, just as content as he could be. Hahaha. Priceless. Didn't phase the boys one bit.

{M} kids: Precious, precious sisters...and one of them a baby! :) Sydney rocked the day with her CUTE cowboy boots...hot pink! It was beyond precious. And little Miss Hadley was so content with her little curl in her hair and pink gingham outfit too. Our funny moment was right after taking a few pics of baby Hadley. I used a super soft and fun hot pink blanket and Sydney wanted it wrapped around her the whole time, while we walked around, of course, to stay warm. Diva-style! LOL. She was too cute!

...and lastly...the humor from the winds..............

Sally's Bridals: We have an amazing time at our first location (and an amazing time, period...but you'll see). We try the train depot...Mother Nature said, "No". So we obeyed. After lights sounded as if they would fall on us, and the wind that would NOT cooperate for a single second. We left there. Walked a few to take pics nearby and I believe Sally ate her veil more than anything else. Quite hilarious as the wind gusts shot it clear over her head and into her face. I got a few (good and blooper-worthy) and we left there. LOL. Next location was a winner. We found our little escape from the wind and enjoyed it...but did have a visit from some random old lady in a car who nicely gave a compliment to Sally as we left. :) And off to our last location...wow...I'm surprised it happened! Hahaha. Wind doesn't describe it...but let's just say, I DID get some good pics, and NO the wind didn't make them look bad either because we timed it perfectly and made it work. But wow. I believe Spartanburg may have gotten some shots of Sally she definitely intended for hubby only on honeymoon night when one giant wind came...but she was quick, I must say! She didn't actually flash anyone...although we did receive random shouts from people driving by, as we were there. And the most hilarious part was arriving back to her car at the first location...the owners had their dogs out (which was fine), but Sally didn't want her dress torn by one hyperactive dog who surrounded my car...and I don't blame her. So...I said, "I'll pull right up to your driver's side door and you run for it while I entertain the dog and distract him." And that's what I did...only I didn't expect to be mauled in the process. I'm whistling and frantically petting the dog (who was honestly sweet and just happy to have attention), when I looked back at Sally to make sure she's fine. As soon as I see she is, I look back to the dog and he literally jumped in my lap while I'm in my car! Thought I would die. Hahaha. It scared me to death because I didn't expect it. So...Sally...you're getting the bill for any band-aids needed for my wounds. ;)

WOW. What an awesome day. Bet you can't wait to see these pics now, huh! :)

A photographer never knows what to expect when going to the woods or property for a session...and this was actually "sight-unseen" which would make me nervous, normally. I must say, I put my faith in Mandy and Blake, as they did in me with their pictures, and it turned out great! (or at least I think so) :) It's hard to believe their little girl will arrive sooner than later as the end of pregnancy draws to a close. Mandy told me they were putting some of the pics on display in the nursery, which I'm excited about, if that becomes true! Newborns are so precious and delicate. And I can't wait to see their beautiful baby girl when she arrives. Thanks for the opportunity! It was a lot of fun working with you and I truly appreciate your patience as we walked the property for all of the shots (and Blake, thanks for not only carrying the chair, but also entertaining Cameron since he was my little assistant during the shoot). :) CONGRATS! Glad to have made this shot come true for Mandy and Blake...even if it is Clemson. ;) LOL. Aren't these shoes the most precious ever!

Bet they're thinking, "yep, a pair of shoes now, and they'll be filled before we realize it"...and it's gonna be great! :)

Grae turns ONE!

Happy birthday to one precious little boy!! Wow. Can't believe it was only last year I had the privilege of taking Grae's newborn pictures and now I'm able to have some fun at his 1st birthday party. And let me just tell you, he's one awesome kid. I can say I've never seen a child eat cake with such enthusiasm!! It was GREAT. Mom and Dad were probably cleaning icing out of Grae's nose for days! He literally dived in! So precious. And priceless. Welcome to this crazy world, Grae and I can't wait for many more to come while watching you grow.

Thanks for having me! I enjoyed every minute. Grae is one special little boy. :)

Change in location for Easter/Spring Sessions on Saturday!!

Ok...for those who have sessions scheduled for Saturday, there's been a slight change in location. It's only a few minutes away from the original. I've contacted the majority and will get the rest tomorrow. Contact me for any questions or concerns. I'm REALLY excited!! I've wanted to take pics at this location for a while. :) Can't wait to share with everyone. And for those curious, there will be no afternoon sessions for Saturday. No one scheduled anyway, which ended up being a blessing considering this nasty, rainy weather postponed a much anticipated bridal session I was supposed to have on Monday. So I have a bridal session Saturday afternoon. Thanks for understanding! What a busy Saturday and this photographer is super ecstatic!! Seen too much rain for too many days. Time for some fun! :)

One sweet baby with a military twist

First and foremost, I want to thank all of those who have served or are serving in the military. This photo shoot was special because it is honoring a father who is not only sacrificing his life for our country, but sacrificing time with his family. More importantly, with one precious 3 month old boy, Titus. Thankfully, I was asked to take his pictures in honor of his father's service and to commemorate this little guy's 3 months in the world. :) Now you can't tell me those precious blue eyes don't melt your heart just a little. He's such a sweet baby and did an amazing job. So I say a huge THANKS to all in the military...and yes, I give a 10% discount to booked sessions for military families...just so you know. So enjoy a little sneak peek at Titus and his military twist to photos. :)
His daddy gave him this dog tag when he was born. It reads, "With Love, From Dad. U.S. Army. Afghanistan 2010."

There are so many favorites, but I have to say that I'm proud of this one. The flag hanging down in the midst of rubble and Titus lying in the middle of it all is just priceless to me. Almost as if he's right there in battle with his daddy. :) I can't wait to hear of a happy homecoming.

Whoo hoo for a beautiful day! Seriously...can the sun stay out more often? How much happier we will all be! :) Today consisted of a wonderful 1st birthday party for one sweet little boy and a memorable maternity session. And just to let you know, I had the cutest assistant EVER. Yep. My son, who is 4 years old, accompanied me to this fun birthday party and to the maternity session! Haha. That never happens, but was a must for today, and I'm super proud of him! He behaved very well and, of course, had a blast at the birthday party. (It helps that the clients today are friends of mine....so, no, don't worry, I wouldn't invite my child to your parties...hahaha.) He had a blast. He ended up sleeping for the first part of the maternity session (also friends of mine) and popped his head out of the car window when he waked up to see what we were doing. It was too funny. (And no, for concerned readers, the car was not on, the keys were not in the ignition, and yes, all windows were down and I was within a few steps of the car.) Lol. :) When he woke up, I'm sure he would've rathered awakened to find the water slide from the birthday party to be nearby. :)

So here's to many more beautiful days and I'll continue to pray for many more wonderful clients!

First, and foremost, I want to apologize to any of you who relied on my blog for the viewing of my pictures in the last couple of months. Since November, I had to focus on my family, specifically my mother, due to her health and surgeries. The blog, of all areas, was neglected.

However, I will be posting as many pictures as I can to highlight the wonderful sessions I've had since November (and October too, really), so you can be included in that. I can't wait. I love being able to share what I see through a lens, with you.

Just so you know...EASTER PICTURES AND EASTER SPECIALS will be posted asap. Easter is so late this year?! April 23rd!! So there's still time, but I will run a special for the pics and will post those as soon as my location is locked in. Check back with me! :)

Excited for Lee & Jared's BIG Day, Saturday!!

what a BUSY week!

So, I've been in Charlotte for 2 days this week and Wednesday I had a sweet & fun engagement session with a very loving couple. I'm excited to also capture memories at their wedding this weekend. They are getting married at the bride's mother's home and are out of town, so we just packed it all in one week! Works for them, and it works for me...as long as the bride's happy, we're all happy! Excited to share some of these pics with you when I've got them up.

And I'm really excited to have a newborn and siblings session on Friday. Little babies just make all the stresses of the world go away. To see them so peaceful and sweet...almost makes you jealous that this world we live in is so crazy sometimes! :)

Then Saturday will be spent at a wedding. CAN'T WAIT!!

Logan and Jackson are absolutely adorable! They are twins and are only 18 months old, but they are all boy and ready to explore. I was so excited about the location today because of the rustic barns and haystacks in the field. I love fall and also love new places for pictures. Don't you just love to watch a baby sleep...so content and not a worry in the world. Didn't think sweet Carter was going to go to sleep. I think the camera intrigued him too much. But goodness, once he gave up the fight, we were able to get some really cute pictures! I'm excited to do this for such great friends, and am even happier for them to join the club of parents. :)

Hmmm...I'll take HIM! Yep, a great accessory for a beautiful day. Hahaha.

So tomorrow I'm off to Chesnee in the morning for a photo shoot of two sweet, cute 18-month-old twin brothers!! Special for me, since they're twins and I have a twin brother of my own. I love it!! And more importantly, I can't WAIT for my camera to start clicking!! I scouted the place and it has great spots for fall pictures!! If any of you want to venture to Chesnee, you let me know! ...and it was FABULOUS! And no, I didn't get "baby fever", just in case you wondered. :) But goodness, he sure is a cutie! Carter is almost 3 weeks old and I am so excited to share his pics with you this week. He was fighting sleep and wasn't a happy camper at first, but his mommy took sweet care of him & got him to sleep for some "oh so precious" pics. He has a cute nursery and there were some great items around the house I was able to use for pics too. The anticipation will have to rise as you wait...I'll go through the pics tomorrow to narrow down and will have to put a "sneak peek" up, I'm sure! :)

Visit to Nivens Apple Farm!

Today I went to Nivens Apple Farm in Moore, SC to enjoy a trip with my son's 3K class. What fun we had!!! And yay...the weather was PERFECT! We enjoyed a hayride (packed worse than a can of sardines?!) which was fun to the acreage, picked apples and pumpkins, tasted apple cider, visited many farm friends, were lost in the corn maze with our friends, and played on the playground area! WHEW! What fun we had! And my son definitely didn't want to leave. I bought some apple cider and apple bread, and I must say, the apple bread is to die for!! Ooooooooo.....SOOOOOO GOOOOOD!! :)

Weather's cooler, leaves changing, & you look GREAT...

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I'm excited for FALL and ready to meet you or any family/friends you may have! I keep my calendar as up-to-date as possible and dates are booked as soon as payment for a session is received. I love to talk to those interested in my photography, so you not only get to hear from me personally, but I like to see what it is you want out of your session. I love capturing special moments, as all photographers do, but I also LOVE meeting new people. Actually, it drives my husband crazy, to be honest. He says we can never go anywhere without me knowing someone. It was a joke, until we went to Orlando, Florida with friends, prior to having our son, and I actually ran into a student and her parents while eating at Olive Garden IN ORLANDO?!! Crazy huh?! I couldn't help but laugh, and needless to say, I haven't lived that one down. And probably never will. LOL.

Anyway...just wanted to remind everyone of my session. I offer up to 2 hours on location of choice and I'm always excited to travel and currently seeking new places around Spartanburg, Greenville, and beyond, for sessions. So let me here it! Feel free to leave comments anytime to let me know if you have any ideas.

The 2 hour session is $200 and you'll receive a CD of all high resolution pictures from your online gallery. A copyright release will be given to you for printing rights as well. Keep in mind, your online gallery also gives you and others (whether near or far) the opportunity to purchase pics from your gallery without you worrying about it. All they'll have to do is choose "drop shipment" and it'll be an extra $7.50 for it to be shipped directly to them within a week (or sooner). Free shipping comes directly to me, if you are in town. :)

I'm also very excited for a wedding coming up this month! It's going to be so beautiful and I can't wait to share the pics. I will say, I normally upload my pics for viewing on Facebook, but I will make sure to post some on here too. That way everyone's happy! Calling all brides and soon-to-be brides...let me know when you'd like some pics done! I LOVE TO CAPTURE THE ESSENCE OF LOVE by photographing weddings. :)

Oh, to have been in the presence of these guys would simply make you laugh just as an observer. A photographer's dream because I didn't have to worry much about what to capture. I told them what to do and they took it and ran with it. These are simply a FEW of my favorites, but MAN, did they have some good ones. They are a group of Senior guys in high school who have all been friends forever and wanted a session for their Senior ad. I LOVED IT! They love the movie, Top Gun, and even go by the nicknames just for fun within their group...so I coined them, the "Top Gun Guys" and was able to get in touch with a friend at the Spartanburg Airport for the location of the shoot. They might have felt funny smiling and standing around, but they certainly had fun doing it.

One of my favs. They needed no help when it came to making each other laugh. :)

Soooo....have you ever known a 1-week-old to love the camera? Well, Mr. Ben sure does! I'm not sure if the sounds and flash might have put him in a trance or what, but he was GREAT for pictures! He let me do whatever and just posed away! He's SOOO cute! He's definitely going to be one sweet little man one day. :) Just look at the pics & I'm sure you'll agree!! :)
My favorite pic...the colors & design of his nursery are amazing and he's just too perfect on my tray! :)

Nothing is sweeter than God's gift of life when giving a couple the opportunity to enjoy being a parent...but WOW...twins! This experience was very special for me, not only because I'm a mother of a 3 1/2 year old, but because I'm a twin myself. Not only am I a twin, but I'm a fraternal twin who has a twin brother, so this session struck me emotionally. Arleigh & Owen are so cute & precious. Not sure how ready they were for the camera, but the camera certainly loved them...or was it the photographer? Hehehe. Thanks, Roberts Family, for the opportunity!

Ok...so I'm soooo excited since I picked up some handmade, knitted, newborn photography props and I'm dying to use them in pictures!! I have a white cotton top cocoon and hat (and it is SOOO soft!), along with a multi-colored cocoon and hat. I have other props as well, including angel wings and other hats/cocoons too. Doesn't matter if the newborn is boy or girl. I've got it all!

IF you or anyone you know has a newborn they wouldn't mind me photographing, please let me know. Should they want a session, I'm offering 30% off the 30 minute session for a newborn photo shoot using my props. The Richardson were troopers as we stuck it out in the hot sun at Hatcher Gardens. But hey, what great pics we were able to get regardless of Mother Nature! Stacey was an AMAZING bride to photograph! They wysteria were blooming which made for beautiful pictures; an old, rustic, rundown barn for my favorite pics of all; and her groom (now husband's) tractor to take some pics just for him; then I asked her to bring her cowboy boots to make it even more personal and pretty! We had a great time as her mother and mother-in-law-to-be shed a few tears. :) It's awesome capturing moments like this...

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR EASTER PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE!!

Easter sessions are scheduled on either Saturdays, March 20th or 27th, in 30 minute time slots for on-location portraiture at Walnut Grove Plantation (scroll down for details about price and what's included).

The following times are available (as of Sunday, March 14th):
-March 20th openings are 1:30pm, 2pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, 3:30pm, 4pm, 4:30pm
-March 27th openings are 11:30am, 12pm, 12:30pm, 1pm, 2:30pm, 3pm, 4:30pm

I will be taking the following pictures when you arrive:
1. Multiple shots on the trail at entrance (bring your child's Easter basket!)
-I will have the child walk and pick up eggs along the trail for natural, beautiful pics
-I will also ask the child to sit down with or without basket filled with eggs (or both!) on trail
2. Multiple shots on the plantation house's front porch
3. Some shots sitting on stone bench with rustic, ivy archway
Those are just a few...as we walk around & I see opportunities arise, we'll take others.

There's also a signature Easter shot I'm wanting to take during the session. I'll leave that as a surprise...and let's pray it works out! :)

Your online gallery of pictures will be up within 2-3 days for you to view. You will then select 5 pictures for your Proof CD and a picture for your 8x10 print. Once I receive the email, you should receive your CD & print shortly after. I will send a personal email regarding details of pictures, ordering, etc.

Who says you can't have fun in McDonald's?? We sure did, celebrating Tyler's 4th birthday!!! Family and friends gathered, but the kids were the ones having all the fun on the indoor playground!! Happy 4th Birthday, Tyler!!!

This picture is PRICELESS!! He was determined to put his birthday hat on...and he succeeded...just not quite in this pic. :)

Dillard Family meets me in Pacolet!!

The Dillard family is a family of 5 and were troopers on a COLD, December Saturday in Pacolet. We were able to change locations and the pictures turned out beautifully!! The twins are so cute and the Graycin is precious...truly wants to be big like her older sisters. :)
Tattling on her sisters? Showing me where they were going? I'll let you decide! But what a cute picture!!!

The twins have a love for the piano...what a sweet picture of them playing together!

So, Graycin is upset because she was sitting beside the tracks first, and I asked the girls to sit beside her for a picture...she only wanted me to take a picture of her (which I did and it's precious if you go to the website and click on the "children" gallery page). So sweet.

Who says everyone has to look at the camera for it to be a great pic?? Not this photographer! This is a precious picture!

And what better way to show the personality of the family with a candid shot. Beautiful and very sweet family! We had a nice COLD time. :)

Addy's ready for SANTA!

Addy was dressed to impress for this photo session, and we were able to get some cute shots! We were at Converse College and she was definitely anxious for Santa to come for presents. Thank you, Kelly and Matt, for providing me with the privlege of photographing your daughter. She's precious!
So...wondering how the session went after seeing Addy in this pic? Hehehe. Hey, all kids get tired after a few shots! But wait til you see the few to come...it was ALL worth the time! :)

She didn't even realize I was taking her picture! All she cared about what seeing her reflection in the table when putting on the Santa hat....SO SWEET!

No, Addy...you can't open it...LOL. Sweet, anxious face of a child at Christmas time. :)

She definitely enjoyed the ornaments I brought for her to play with! What a cute picture!! :)

The Catoe Family were such a joy to work with! We had so much fun at the park and the MMs were a true hit!! Both for the kids and for the pictures!! I came up with the idea of using the MMs because each family member's first name begins with an "M"...so I told Meagan of my ideas and she said "go for it". I did, and they turned out GREAT! :) Thank you so much for such a great time!

I just LOVE how the color POPS in this picture. Those that know me, know that I LOVE color, but how great to mesh color with a black and white picture. This is definitely a favorite!

I swear, when looking at this picture, I feel like the sky rests in the kids' eyes...how amazing!

Siblings are such fun...so much personality! You never know how they'll act. :)

Adelyn in the Fall

Adelyn was so fun to photograph. She's such a sweet baby & she certainly doesn't mind a wardrobe change. :) Mommy had a couple of different outfits & we were able to go to a lot of different places on the property in Gaffney. We were super excited when she started sitting up on her own a couple of days before the session! Yay, Adelyn!

Could a fall picture be any sweeter than this? She sat there so content. :)

This was a lot of fun. She sat in the basket so still for poses. The yarn is something I made myself to add texture to the basket & photograph. Worked well, I think!

Siblings' Surprise for Daddy: Bella & Wren

Bella & Wren are absolutely precious & I'm honored to have taken such great portraits for the family. This situation is different then most sessions. The mother called me & wanted me to take pictures for her, we met & discussed the session, & I was taken away by her story & family. The father was currently serving in Iraq & these pictures were especially for him. He was unaware of the session & the pictures & she wanted them to be a surprise. He was gone for almost a year at this point & was returning within a month. Eventually, she did tell him about the pictures & he was able to view them online overseas. Her description of his reaction & their satisfaction for my photography of their children is why I love being a photographer. Pictures are timeless, ageless, & truly stop time in its tracks to capture the essence of any moment. I am so thankful for this session & experience.
Bella's already posing & she couldn't have made a more beautiful picture here. So cute!!

Aidyn's 1st Birthday Party!!

Aidyn was a popular little girl at her 1st birthday party surrounded by family & friends (big & small)...but she was definitely the entertainment for the afternoon! She enjoyed every minute of her birthday to be in this world for a year & I'm blessed to have been there to capture the memories. Here's a snapshot of just a mere few! :)

What's a party without an alligator?...I mean, a birthday cake...I mean, an alligator cupcake cake!! What a talented mommy...& one YUMMY alligator! (I'm SO glad they had extra & offered some for me.) hehehe :)

Caroline has such a contagious personality! When seeing these, keep in mind her Mommy told me she doesn't do well with having her pictures taken...well...you'll see the EXACT opposite happened...she posed all on her own! :)

This is such a precious shot! She's just chilin' & relaxin'.

Such a sweet picture...Mommy wanted her to wear her pretty dress, so we tempted her with the stream...this is one of many great pictures. :)

I mean, come on...look at that smile!!

What a gorgeous shot I was able to get simply by telling Caroline to try & step on a bug (which there wasn't one there)! I saw this amazing setup and HAD to get her over there...the flowers & greenery are AMAZING! Yay!!

Kaylyn & Grey have such a sweet place in my heart. They have been dating for forever & have such contagious personalities...individually & together. We laughed A LOT in this session.

Such a sweet couple & a lot of fun to work with.

If you only knew just how many times we ran out in the middle of the road to get this great shot! And we didn't get ran over! Love this one. :)

Well...I thought they enjoyed the photo session...they were willing to hitch a ride & ditch their own car & me...hehehe.

Megan & Dan Engagement

It's great to have such an awesome co-worker as Megan & I'm glad to have met Dan. These two truly are meant to be together because they complement each other nicely. I had a blast!
I can't wait for these two to get married...they are absolutely hilarious together.

Love this black & white...it really accentuates the surroundings & makes for a very peaceful picture.

The essence of being in love...& these two definitely are! They're so sweet together.

This one is one of my favs! I love it that they pull for opposite teams, but I think Megan wins this one since she's wearing the diamond! I'm SO glad we were able to shoot at the ballfield.

Riley was such a cutie to shoot & it's even better that her mom is a friend of mine. Riley wasted no time showing me around her house & outside. She's so sweet.
